Measurement Approach Modifications Before the change, the sizing featured numerical and alphabetical indicators, such as S/8 or M/10. The updated approach includes a letter with a size spectrum such as S/UK 8-10. In some cases, the measurements have been reclassified - such as a large size used to be a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18. User Experiences One content creator, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder". "Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," as the platform currently indicates. Another user, based in Glasgow, explained products she uploaded featuring size 14 markings were displaying on the service as larger sizing 20-22. "If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they're going to be very disappointed," she explained. Necessary Adjustments Charlotte Lunn, located in England, said she had been left angered because the modification necessitated personal updates the measurements for "each individual item". "For me this is particularly frustrating, because of my ongoing medical condition and Vinted sales have been crucial for me since losing part of my income," she stated.
